The use of IoT sensors and AI algorithms for environmental monitoring and optimization represents a significant leap in the efficiency and sustainability of the aquaponic facility. Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) contribute to the restoration, monitoring, conservation, and valorization of biodiversity, with particular focus on water management and waste reduction.
The FISH&I project (Fish Farming Innovation for Sustainable Husbandry & Intelligence) has been selected under the Research Program of the National Biodiversity Center, “National Biodiversity Future Center (NBFC)”, and is funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU – PNRR – Mission 4, “Education and Research” – Component 2, “From Research to Enterprise” – Investment Line 1.4.
